About me and my practice
Welcome to my profile. I am a highly successful and professional private practitioner with over 8 years of experience. Previously, I worked in nursing, surgical and ICU settings within hospitals, nurseries, with teenagers, neurodivergence, rehabilitation, end-of-life care, domestic violence, family centres, and community work. I offer a personalised approach to therapy, as I sincerely believe that building a genuine, yet professional connection is key to achieving good outcomes in therapy. Therefore, from the moment we connect, I will welcome you and provide a space that feels comfortable for you to open up about matters close to your heart - without fear of judgement. We all experience difficult transitions, and navigating these alone can exacerbate how we feel and cause unhelpful thinking. With the right support, you can grow as an individual or couple. Therapy is not a quick fix, so if that's what you seek, I may not be the right therapist for you. I work at a comfortable pace, client led, using various schools of thought and techniques - including challenging. I build genuine connections through my authenticity, so you will always feel very welcome to return at any point in the future should you need support.
